SIRA approved exercise physiologists in NSW
Accredited exercise physiologists (AEPs) use structured, progressive exercise programs to rebuild strength, movement and confidence after an injury, and are often involved where deconditioning or persistent pain is slowing a recovery. Their programs are frequently used alongside physiotherapy, or once the acute phase of an injury has settled and the focus shifts to reloading the body for the demands of work. An exercise physiologist tailors load and progression to what your injury can currently tolerate, tracks measurable gains in capacity, and feeds that evidence into your return to work plan. Like other allied health treaters, they need current AHPRA-linked accreditation and current SIRA approval to be funded under NSW workers compensation, and their care is directed at function and a durable return to your role rather than open-ended treatment.
Is there a list of exercise physiologists for NSW workers compensation?
Yes. We list 10 SIRA approved exercise physiologists as a sample here, drawn from the public SIRA register and covering 7 suburbs (Sydney, Parramatta, Liverpool, Penrith, Miranda, North Sydney, Castle Hill). This is a labelled sample, not the whole register. Profiles show name, suburb and discipline only. Confirm a provider's current SIRA approval before you engage them.

Not sure which provider you need?
An allied health treater delivers hands-on treatment for your injury; a workplace rehabilitation provider coordinates your return to work. Read the guides, or tell us your situation and we will point you the right way.
